Kenneth R. Buchmoyer

Kenneth Buchmoyer, 86, of Palmyra went to be with Jesus Tuesday, July 24th. He died peacefully in the Hershey Medical Center with his family by his side. He was the son of the late David and Anna Mae Snavely Buchmoyer. He was the loving husband of Patricia Funk Buchmoyer to whom he was married for 62 years. He is survived by his daughters Jean wife of Richard Mason of Cleona, Lois wife of Thomas Englehart Jr. of Palmyra, Shirley, wife of Edward Knisely Jr. of Middletown, Donna Buchmoyer of Palmyra, and his brother-in-law Michael Funk, husband of Cindy Waltz Funk of Delaware. Also his grandchildren, Christine Hepler, Jeremy Englehart, Brent Englehart, Lauren Funk, Bradley Funk, Kyle Funk, Jessica Knisely and Benjamin Knisely. His great-grandchildren Maya, Kallie, Logan, Gavin, Addison, Nicole, and Ethan. His brother Ralph Buchmoyer, Manheim. He was a skilled bricklayer, who was a self-employed masonry contractor for 36 years. He retired from his business and then worked as a driver for Cornwall Manor. Ken’s entire life was centered around his family. He loved them with a beautiful, endless love. He was always there for them and provided everything they needed in any way he could. We love him more than words can say and will miss him every day. Ken was a Godly, kind, compassionate, generous man who had a smile and friendly word for everyone he met. His faith was important to him. He enjoyed going to church and listening to Christian music. He was an avid Penn State football and Phillies fan. He also enjoyed camping and hiking with his family at state parks. He was preceded in death by his daughter Gail, his grandson Eric, his brother Clarence, and his sister Anna Mae. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville, PA. Viewing will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will take place in Grand View Memorial Park.
