Karl R. Ney

Karl R. Ney, 80, of Jonestown passed away Friday November 4, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Joan M. (Newcomer) Ney. They had celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this past June. Born in Tower City, on October 8, 1936, he was the son of the late John R. and Abbie E. (Kreiser) Ney. Karl graduated from Porter-Tower Township High School with the class of 1954. He was a member of Hill Lutheran Church, Lebanon. Karl was a 33rd degree Mason with Masonic Lodge 570. He was also a past council member of Pine Grove. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter Sandra K. Ney of Nakina, NC.; grandchildren Johnathan, Tiffany, Tabitha, Jodeane and Josiah; 9 great-grandchildren; brother Donald J. husband of Stella Ney of Archdale, NC and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers William CSM Ney, John Ney, Carey Ney and Leonard Ney. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11am at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rte.72 and Camp Meeting Rd. Jonestown, PA 17038. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
