Harold H. Sellers

Harold H. Sellers, 87, of 1016 S. White Oak Street, Lebanon died Friday January 20, 2012 in Countryside Christian Community, North Annville Twp. He was the husband of Mary Jane Kreiser Smith Sellers and the late Verna E. Dutweiler Sellers who died in 2005. Born in Iona on December 12, 1924, he was the son of the late Harvey and Naomi Boger Sellers. He was a retired self-employed farmer in South Annville Twp. and a retired machinist from Dechert Dynamics Corp., Palmyra. Harold graduated from Annville High School in 1942, and was a member of Fontana United Christian Church where he was a member of the Fontana Union Sunday School, and formerly served as a Church Board Trustee, on the Chapel Board, and Church Treasurer. He was a former South Mountain 4H Club Leader, former member of the Lebanon Valley Expo Board, former member of the Lebanon County 4H Fair Board, Annville Senior Citizens, Brookside Retreat Hunting Camp, Lebanon County Holstein Club, and the Pennsylvania Farmers Association. He was an avid bowler who bowled in two leagues at Palmyra Bowling. Surviving in addition to his second wife are two sons Kenneth I. husband of Karen Sellers of Lebanon, Bruce D. husband of Barbara Sellers of Hummelstown, three daughters Joanne M. wife of David Arndt of Palmyra, Karen L. wife of Terry Smith of Annville, Linda M. wife of Clarence Fittery of Denver, a step-son Kenneth husband of Susan Smith of Myerstown, two step-daughters Carol wife of Paul Brandt of Lebanon, Robin wife of Mark Rhoads of Fleetwood, twenty grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, five step-great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Mae Sellers of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM from Fontana Chapel, Rt. 322, Fontana. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Chapel and also on Wednesday from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the Chapel.
