Wendy K. Adams Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Wendy K. Adams, 61, of Palmyra, passed away on Wednesday January 26, 2022 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edwin C. “Ed” Adams, who passed in 2016, and her first husband Samuel F. Purcell, Sr., who passed in 2001. Wendy was born in Hershey on May 8, 1960 to Marian (Wampler) Katzaman of Palmyra, and the late John Katzaman. She was a stay-at-home mother and had worked as a bus driver for Bucks and Annville-Cleona School District. She recently had worked in medical billing and coding for Perform Care. She was a member of Lebanon Valley Bible Church. She enjoyed canning, raising chickens, gardening, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren. Wendy is survived by her children, Renee Miller (Warren Miller, Jr.) of Hummelstown, Ashlee Purcell of Biloxi, Mississippi, Samuel Purcell, Jr. of Palmyra, Paul Purcell (Amy) of Lititz, Christopher Purcell of Palmyra, Shawn Purcell of Palmyra, grandchildren, Austin Posey, Makayla Miller, Ben Siegrist, Kota Lundvall, MacKenzie Lundvall, Brantley Purcell, Carlene Purcell, and Buckley Purcell, and siblings, Wayne, Wes, Warren, Wanda, and Wanette Katzaman. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 9AM at Lebanon Valley Bible Church, 1482 Horseshoe Pike, Lebanon. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. There will be a viewing on Thursday evening from 6PM – 8PM at the church. There will be no additional viewing on Friday morning. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to her church.
