Ruthanne Shutter

Ruthanne Shutter, 80, of Richland, passed away on Monday March 21, 2022 at Stone Ridge Towne Centre, Myerstown. She was the wife of the late Glenn Kreiser, who passed away in 1989. She is survived by her husband Robert L. Shutter, with whom she celebrated 30 years in marriage. Ruthanne was born in Mt. Zion on May 24, 1941 to the late Ray and Minerva (Gibbel) Lentz. She was a graduate of Northern Lebanon High School. She had worked as a bookkeeper for various companies. She was a member of New Beginnings Charis Fellowship Church in Myerstown. She enjoyed cooking, her church was very important to her, as well as spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and visiting the beach. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Denise Weaver (Earl) of Richland, Doreen Smaltz (Kevin) of Myerstown, Patrick Kreiser (Shawn) of Heidelburg Twp., stepdaughter, Michele Wallace (Brad) of Middletown, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and her siblings, Robert Lentz (Sandra) of Myerstown, Sandra Klingler (Bruce) of Lebanon, Jay Lentz (Brenda) of Myerstown, and Gary Lentz (Barbara) of Greble. A funeral service will be on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10:30AM at New Beginnings Charis Fellowship Church, 430 E. Lincoln Ave., Myerstown. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon. There will be a viewing on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 6PM – 8PM at the church, and again on Friday morning from 9:30AM-10:30AM at the church.
