Ronald Lee Ulrich, 62, of Palmyra, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at his home. He was the husband of Cindy I. Hinks Ulrich. Born in Bethel on June 11, 1959, he was the son of the late Jacob and Edith Ohlinger Ulrich. Ron had worked at Tim Kreider’s barn at Penn National. He also had his own horses and enjoyed working with them. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Brian and Jamie Ulrich; step-daughter Christy (Steve) Wenger; brothers Dennis and Larry Ulrich; sisters Beatrice (Richard) Frantz, Janet Costic, Carol Digenakis & fiancé Norm Szamockj, and Betty (Nick) Snook; mother-in-law Nancy Hinks; brother-in-law Dennis Hinks, Sr.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Ulrich. Services were held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of your choice or to the American Cancer Society.
