Pearl Elizabeth Frantz Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Pearl Elizabeth Frantz (Bechtel), 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 5th, 2022, at Linden Village Nursing home in Lebanon, PA. She was born on October 17th, 1932, in Lebanon County, to the late Lewis and Emily (Immel) Bechtel. She was married to the late Ralph Frantz. She attended Empire Beauty school where she graduated and received her beautician’s license. Pearl began her working career as a beautician in her own beauty shop located in Annville, PA. In her free time away from the shop, she would travel to a local nursing home in Lebanon, PA to provide her haircutting services to the elderly. After several years, she sold her beauty shop and started her next chapter at the Hershey Company, where she worked on the Rollo candy line until her retirement from the company. Pearl will be remembered for her passion and love for all things crafting. She was very talented when it came to her crafting; painting, woodworking, making flower arrangements, knitting, and crocheting. All of her pieces of art were sold to family and friends, or she would sell them at various craft shows throughout PA. She also donated knitted hats and scarfs to the local children’s hospital. She had a huge adoration for cats; owned many and took care of strays surrounding her family home. She will be dearly missed by her brother, Sterling Bechtel and his wife Dianne of Annville; sister, Edith Gordon and her husband Harry of Palmyra; stepson Samuel Frantz and his wife Barb of Tyrone; her nieces, Debra Neidinger, Brenda Kulp, Bonnie Miller, Michelle Wolf and Susan Lauck (predeceased); her nephews, Jeffrey Bechtel, Kenneth Bechtel, and Jesse Bechtel; and great-nieces and nephews, Meghan Bechtel, Matthew Bechtel, Jarrod Kulp, Derrick Kulp, Megan Wolf, Heather Wolf Manning, and Brandon Wolf. She was predeceased by five brothers, Lewis Jr., Norman, James, Robert, and Leroy Bechtel. A public viewing will be held from 10:00AM-11:00AM on Friday, June 10th, 2022, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St. Annville, PA 17003. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society: 150 N.
