Jan M. Neidig, 72, of Jonestown, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at the Hershey Medical Center. She spent her final moments with her loving family. She was the wife of the late Bernard R. Neidig who died on August 1, 1986. Born in Hershey on November 15, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Elmer A. and Elizabeth M. “Betty” Snavely Bretz. Jan was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. She was a NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. & Jr. She was a member of JR Nation. Jan loved going to the beach at Ocean City, MD. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends, gardening, bingo, shopping, decorating for Christmas, going to Olive Garden, and her apples and potatoes in her backyard. Jan lived for her children and her grandchildren, and they were her greatest love. Those left to honor her memory are her son Brian K. Neidig of Lebanon; daughter Cheryl Lynn wife of Gregory Lindbeck of Akron; brother Robert Bretz of Fredericksburg; grandchildren Brittany (Cody) Shirk, Briana Neidig, Skylar (Nicholas) Ceresini and Shawn Lindbeck; and her great grandchildren Brayden and Domenic. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
