Henry R. Lawrence Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Henry R. Lawrence, 78, of Lebanon passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Ellen Mary (Ditzler) Lawrence to whom he would have celebrated 25 years of marriage in October. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Henry A. and Tempi Marnetta (Henry) Lawrence. Henry worked as a scheduler for nearly 50 years for San Giorgio Pasta where he met his wife Ellen. He was a wonderful, sweet, caring man who loved spending time with his grandchildren. Henry enjoyed making wine, wood working, gardening and spending time with his dogs. Henry was a US Air Force veteran who proudly served his country. He was a member of the Lebanon VFW Post 23 and also the Annville American Legion Post 559 for 50 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Kelly, wife of Mike Glancy and step-son Andrew Moyer; four grandchildren Matthew and Kyle Glancy and Zoe and Delaney Moyer; one sister Doris, wife of Bill Matz and numerous nieces and nephews. A private burial will be held at the convenience of his family. A public Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Annville American Legion Post 559, 35 S. Manheim St., Annville, PA 17003. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256
