Gloria Jean Risser Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gloria Jean Risser, 75, of Lebanon died Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She is survived by her husband of nearly 56 years, James W. Risser, Sr. Born in Martinsburg, West Virginia on November 29, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Schafferman and the late Geraldine Hoffmaster. Gloria was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Cleona. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, showing her Pontiac GTO at car shows, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling with her husband. Gloria also handmade mats for the homeless. Surviving in addition to her husband are 3 children, Bobbi Jean Elder, wife of Dwayne of Lebanon, James W. Risser, Jr., husband of Tammy of Lebanon, Teresa Wagner, wife of Craig of Cleona, a sister, Gwendolyn Edwards, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30am on Thursday, February 17, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St. Annville, PA 17003. There will be a public viewing on Thursday from 8:30am-9:30am at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is handling arrangements.
