Esther H. Doutrich

Esther H. (Fox) Doutrich, 96, passed in her sleep in the early morning of Thursday, May 5, 2022. She resided at Juniper Village in Lebanon. She was surrounded by the Juniper staff of whom she was very fond when she passed peacefully. She was the wife of the late Cletus L. Doutrich to whom she was married for 68 years prior to his passing on September 13, 2012. Born in Lancaster on July 27, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Susie Horning Fox. Esther and Cletus were active members of the Sharon Mennonite Fellowship. She is survived by her son Bruce E. Doutrich of Bethel; daughter Eunice Hartman & son-in-law Richard of Cape Cod, MA; sister Pauline Newswanger; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons Marlin and Glenn Doutrich, and sisters Edna Gingrich and Marion Good. A viewing will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Sharon Mennonite Fellowship (corner of Union and Greble Road). A viewing will be held immediately after the services. Interment will follow in the adjoining Wolf’s Union Meeting House Cemetery.
