Suzanne Rockett

Suzanne Rockett-Allen, 68, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Select Specialty Hospital in Camp Hill. She was the wife of Ernie M. Allen. On July 1st they would have celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary. Born in Lebanon in May 24, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Lengel Gross. She retired from the M. S. Hershey Medical Center where she had been an RN in the Operating Room. She was an active member of the Living Waters Chapel, Lebanon where she had taught Sunday School, worked with the youth group and also had served as a financial counselor. She volunteered for Lebanon Christian Ministries and at the VA. Suzanne also had served as a missionary in Nigeria for three years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Anthony J. Rockett of Atlanta, GA and Ernie’s two children; Derrick M. husband of Melinda Allen of West Chester; daughter Michele wife of Maurice Corbin of Morton; brother John Gross of Hummelstown; sister Laura Zugay of Mt. Gretna and her grandson Tyler F. Corbin. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at 12:30 p.m. at the Living Waters Chapel, 1900 Jay St., Lebanon. Her viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
