Rosa A. Pérez

Rosa A. Pérez, 82, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at her home. She was the wife of the late Juan B. Almonte. Born in El Carril Arriba, Laguna Salada, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Fermin Pérez and Paulina Valdez. Rosa loved going to church and loved singing the old hymns. She was always helping whoever was in need. She especially loved her family and was always a joy to be around. She will be sadly missed by her sons Pedro Almonte of NJ, Juan Almonte of Lebanon, and Pedro Almonte of Lebanon; daughters Juana Almonte of Lebanon and Viannellys Rojas of Lebanon; brother Osvaldo Pérez of Arizona; sisters Dulce Serulle of NJ and Cruz Maria Pérez of NJ; and twenty-one grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ramon Vargas and Modesto Pérez and sisters Aida Perdomo and Nelly Pérez. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Wenger Cemetery, Jonestown. Rosa A. Pérez, de 82 años, de Lebanon, falleció el Miércoles, 24 de Mayo de 2023 en su casa. Fue la esposa del difunto Juan B. Almonte. Nacida en El Carril Arriba, Laguna Salada República Dominicana, era hija del fallecido Fermín Pérez y Paulina Valdez. A Rosa le encantaba ir a la iglesia y le encantaba cantar los viejos himnos. Siempre estaba ayudando a quien lo necesitaba. Amaba especialmente a su familia y siempre era un placer estar cerca de ella. La extrañarán tristemente sus hijos Pedro Almonte de NJ, Juan Almonte de Lebanon y Pedro Almonte de Lebanon; hijas Juana Almonte de Lebanon y Viannellys Rojas de Lebanon; el hermano Osvaldo Pérez de Arizona; las hermanas Dulce Serulle de NJ y Cruz María Pérez de NJ; y 21 nietos y 6 bisnietos. Le precedieron en la muerte sus hermanos Ramón Vargas y Modesto Pérez y sus hermanas Aída Perdoma y Nelly Pérez. Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo a la 1 p.m. el Sábado, 27 de Mayo de 2023 en Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. Habrá un visionado a partir de las 11:00 a.m. hasta el inicio del servicio. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Wenger, Jonestown.
