James R. Cramer

James R. Cramer, 82, of Lebanon, died Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara A. Bowman Cramer, with whom he would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this June. Born in Lebanon on April 22, 1935, he was the son of the late Dana Cramer and Step-Mother Rose Cramer. James graduated from Annville-Cleona High School, and went on to attend Lebanon Valley College. He worked as a printing company estimator for the Lebanon Valley Offset until they closed. James was a lifelong member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Cleona where he sang in the church choir and was on the church bowling league. He enjoyed fishing, camping and was a member of the Kanvas Kruisers camping club for many years. James always enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Robert J. Cramer, husband of Teresa of Lebanon, James D. Cramer, husband of Darlene of Myerstown, a daughter Jana Zimmerman, wife of Ronald of Annville, grandchildren Chase, Molly, Matthew, Morgan and Haley, and great grandchild Trey. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11AM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in James’ memory to Immanuel United Methodist Church, 29 E. Maple Street, Cleona, PA 17042.
