Daniel S. Ail

Daniel S. Ail, 57, of Hummelstown died Thursday, November 3, 2016 in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Beth DeLiberty Ail with whom he celebrated 33 years of marriage. Born in Harrisburg on December 2, 1958, he was the son of Anne Oswald Ail of Elizabethtown and the late Rev. Richard R. Ail. He was a Certified Financial Planner and owner of Ail’s Financial Services, of Hershey. Dan was a 1976 graduate of Annville-Cleona High School and earned his CFP designation from the American Financial College, Bryn Mawr, PA. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hummelstown where he served as the church treasurer. Dan was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan who enjoyed bowling, listening to music, and playing cards. He was a proud father and devoted husband who was strong in his faith and loved his family deeply, especially his granddaughters. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two daughters, Katherine Ann wife of Kyle K. TenHuisen of Commerce Twp., Michigan, Samantha Jane wife of Michael V. Gustantino of Palmyra, and was affectionately called “GranDan” by his granddaughters, Elizabeth, Abigail, Joanna, and Emily. He is also survived by two brothers Timothy S. husband of Sharon Blauch Ail of Bloomsburg, Robert A. husband of Ellen Eifert Ail of Palmyra, a sister Suzanne M. Ail of Lancaster, and many special nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Grace United Methodist Church, 433 E. Main Street, Hummelstown. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville and also on Wednesday from 10-11 AM prior to the service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
