Bobette 'Bobbi' Louise Gouch

Bobette “Bobbi” Louise Gouch, 85, of Annville, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at her residence. She was the wife of the late John Gouch, who died in 2002. Born in Lakewood, Ohio, on July 11, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Louise (Higby) Gazley and sister of Jane L. White of Ocala, Florida. She retired as a stock broker from Prudential Bache of Columbus, Ohio where she was the radio voice for daily stock quotes. Bobbi was a 1949 graduate of Sycamore High School in Cincinnati, where she was an outstanding student and a cheerleader, and the Cooper School of Art in Cleveland. She attended Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. Bobbi was a gifted and prolific artist and added beauty to many people’s lives through her numerous gifts of paintings. Bobbi loved sharing her passion for art by encouraging creativity in others and teaching them how to express it through painting...She was an active member of Unity Church of Palmyra, where she chaired the Prayer Ministry for 11 years, and an avid student of A Course in Miracles. Bobbi, fondly called Grammy, was a loving and dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She loved encouraging her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in pursuing their wide range of talents and interests, and beamed about all their wonderful accomplishments. Art projects and tea parties with Grammy are favorite memories of her grandchildren. Bobbi had a thirst for knowledge and understanding that ranged from science to spirituality. Surviving are daughter Leslyn (Dr. Ralph) Keil of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, and sons John (Donna) Gouch of Anderson, South Carolina, and Jeffrey (Nancy) Gouch of Wheaton, Illinois; grandchildren Lauren (Dr. Hareth) Madhoun of Columbus, Ohio, Jason Keil (Christie Carlson) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Natalie (Joseph) DeSantis of Hershey, Pennsylvania, Stephen (Elizabeth) Carroll of Pendleton, South Carolina, Christopher “Jamie” Carroll of Anderson, South Carolina, Katie Gouch (Zachary Tax) of St. Augustine, Florida, and Susan Gouch of Boulder, Colorado; and great-grandchildren Mollie Catherine, Natalie and Aniston Carroll. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 PM Saturday, July 16, at the Unity Church of Palmyra, 37 E. Main St., Palmyra, Pennsylvania, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3 PM. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
