Ammon A. Boltz

Ammon A. Boltz, 66, of Cornwall died Friday, October 28, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the husband of Lisa M. Falana Boltz. Born in Lebanon on February 24, 1950, he was the son of the late Robert and Nancy Brouse Boltz. He started working in the car business in 1970 with the former R & J Motors, Lebanon and presently worked part-time for Bobby Gerhart’s Truck World, Lebanon. Ammy, as he was known to his friends was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy and Lebanon Valley College. He was an active member of Hope Episcopal Church, Manheim where he served on the Vestry and Finance Committee. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed attending sporting events with family and friends. He was also a great fan of high school basketball, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ammy was a member of the Quentin Riding Club where he was a past president and served on its Board of Directors and was the founder of the Keystone Round Ball Classic. However, Ammy was never a member of Sam’s Club and was never on Facebook. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Brian J. Boltz and wife Maria of Mechanicsburg, two daughters Juliana Falana and Madeline Gallaher both of Lebanon, two sisters Roberta wife of Paul Lorenzetti of Lebanon, Marianna wife of Scott Kopp of Lititz, and in-laws Frederick and Alice Harris of Cornwall. He was a devoted husband and beloved father and affectionately known to his six grandchildren Finnegan and Elizabeth Boltz, Laela and Isreal Falana, and Luciano and Niccolo Aungst as “Grand Dude”. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday at 5:00 PM at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville with a visitation from 3-5 PM prior to the service. The family respectfully requests that you come in casual sports attire. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
