Charlotte June Werner, 90, who for the past 10 years resided in Glen Lyon, PA with her daughter and son-in-law and more recently for the past three months in Birchwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Nantikoke died Tuesday August 21, 2012 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lewis A. Werner who died in 2009. Born in Coffeetown on June 14, 1922, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy, Sr. and Mae Snavely Sanders. She was a homemaker and in her youth was a licensed beautician. Charlotte was a graduate of the Philadelphia School of the Deaf, enjoyed doing crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are a daughter Sherry wife of David Finogle of Glen Lyon, a son Terry L. Werner of Anchorage, Alaska, a brother Elwood Sanders of Lebanon, three grandchildren Kenneth husband of Victoria Sauley, Michael husband of Phet Werner, Shannon Werner, two great grandchildren Mitchell and Megan Sauley, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson Nicholas Werner, two brothers Carl “Pete” Sanders, LeRoy “Babe” Sanders, Jr., and a sister Rita Shirk. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Friday from 9:30 AM till time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
