U.S. Veteran

Robert Paul Weaber, Sr., 62, of Annville ascended into heaven Thursday June 28, 2012 in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Angela M. Quiles Weaber to whom he was married to for 40 years. Born in Pottsville on October 7, 1949 he was the son of the late John and Helen Wise Weaber. Robert was a 1967 graduate of Annville-Cleona High School and was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked in the foundry of PRL Industries, Inc for 31 years before retiring in 2006. Robert was an active member of Faith Fellowship Church in Cleona where he was an Elder, Licensed Minister, Chairman of the Church Bus and Van Ministry since 1974 and was an on-call Chaplain for the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. He also was a member of the USMC League and the Lebanon VFW Post 23. Surviving in addition to his wife Angela are two sons Robert P. Weaber, Jr. and wife Desiree and Richard J. Weaber and wife Michelle both of Lebanon; a daughter Michelle Lee wife of Jason Williams of Manheim; nine grandchildren Brenden Wagner, Devon Williams, Alex Weaber, Anthony Beard, Sienna Lee Williams, Kayleen Weaber, Analyse Weaber, Madison Lyons, Savannah Weaber and two sisters Lillian wife of Griffin Ferguson of Lebanon and Cathy wife of Steve Kovack of Myerstown. Robert was preceded in death by a sister Linda Liddick. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00AM from Faith Fellowship Church, 721 E. Penn Ave. Cleona. Interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Public viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6-9 pm from the Church and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Faith Fellowship Church in memory of Robert.
