Jack H. Miller, 84, of 622 S. 14th Avenue, Lebanon died Tuesday April 10, 2012 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Betty B. Lauer Miller to whom he was married 61 years. Born in Lebanon on March 7, 1928, he was the son of the late George Miller and the late Elva Harvey Miller Sharp. He was employed for 31 years as a truck driver for Jones Motor Co., Lebanon and then worked in maintenance for the Cornwall-Lebanon School District. Jack was a US Marine Corp. veteran of WW II and Korea and attended South Lebanon High School. He was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church, Lebanon, the Friendship Fire Company, Annville American Legion Post 559, Lebanon VFW Post 23, and the Teamsters Local 429. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Jack D. husband of Missy Miller of Cleona, two grandchildren Jessica H. Miller and Krista M. Miller both of Cleona, a sister Debra wife of William Kreiser of Lebanon, three brother-in-laws Martin Hauck, Roger May, and Floyd Lauer. He was preceded in death by a daughter Laurrae M. Somers, a brother John Sharp, and three sisters Marilyn Sharp, Doris Hauck, and Sandra May. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville with the Rev. William Chrin officiating. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park with Full Military Honors. No Viewing. Visitation will be held on Saturday 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
